Brice Parker Bio
Brice Parker is a veteran visual effects producer and creative executive whose career has bridged feature animation, large-scale visual effects, and immersive storytelling for more than three decades. Beginning his career in the Bay Area during the rise of modern digital filmmaking, Brice developed a reputation for combining technical production expertise with a strong instinct for story and emotional tone. His work spans some of the industry’s most ambitious productions, including Dune: Part One, Dune: Part Two, Joker, Venom, and The Matrix Reloaded, as well as collaborations with studios such as Pixar, Marvel Studios, and Weta FX. Throughout his career, Parker has focused on using visual effects not simply as spectacle, but as a tool to deepen character, atmosphere, and audience connection. His projects often sit at the intersection of technology and emotion, helping filmmakers translate imaginative worlds into cinematic experiences that still feel grounded in human storytelling.
A major throughline in Parker’s career has been his connection to feature animation and the storytelling traditions pioneered by Pixar. While working with Pixar and members of the legacy storytelling team, Parker helped develop and produce “Pixar in Concert,” a live symphonic experience that highlighted how music and visual storytelling work together to shape emotion and narrative. The production emphasized dialogue-free sequences from Pixar films, allowing audiences to experience how score, editing, and animation alone can communicate character and feeling. Parker has also demonstrated a deep appreciation for film history and preservation. In 2013, he collaborated with fellow filmmakers and restoration artists to help revive Black Angel, the long-lost fantasy short that originally screened before The Empire Strikes Back in select international theaters. Working alongside industry veterans connected to Lucasfilm and the Visual Effects Society, Parker helped oversee restoration efforts that preserved the film’s original spirit while preparing it for modern audiences. Across both animation and visual effects, his work reflects a consistent belief that technology serves its greatest purpose when it supports memorable characters, emotional resonance, and timeless cinematic storytelling.
